I think I can say with some certainty that I would have been with the 
SPD and thousands of others protesting the Enabling Acts and the Nazi 
regime.

Riefenstahl wasn't just another German with a Swastika pin or nominal 
membership in the Party, her involvement goes far beyond getting swept 
up in national fervor or complicity. She was the single most effective 
and widely-known propagandist for the most vile regime seen by modern 
man.
