As to the occaisonal white specks in certain images, they are "digital grain" due to the 1600 asa setting in really dark corners of the room. I was personally really amazed by the "dome" shot...for a hand held shot at about 40 feet above me it came out remarkably crisp and detailed...thanks to everyone for your comments!
