Probably depends on what lenses and types of photos you prefer.  Most of my
photos are at 280mm and longer of subjects without any linear shapes.  I
prefer the microprism screen and I even had my SL2 changed to the microprism
screen (as I understand it this camera has the last SL2 microprism screen
that Solms had).  If I were more intersted in architecture with wide-angle
lenses then split-image would be my choice.
