Dave, what will you use the long lens for? It will determine which focal 
length you want. Any 135mm lens on a screw-mount Leica will bring a penalty 
in focusing accuracy. The 90mm will focus more accurately and is more 
compact. Especially if you shoot mostly b+w slight cropping will give you a 
135mm perspective from the 90mm negative; what am I saying, the same thing 
is true for color if you scan and photoshop the image.

Try a 90mm f/2,8 Elmarit, twice as fast, not that much bulkier and still 
very reasonable in price.
