             You made a wise choice in the Rolex GMT which is a concept
designed watch and
             which spawned many copies by other wannabes etc

             Sadly in todays BATA ( buy and throw away ) consumerism - such
luxuries are far
             and few in between

              There is a common thread in the world of cars and watches - in
that many cars
              install massed produced power trains and call them by their
newly branded names whilst
             ETA the Swiss mass producer of watch movements supply easily
more than 90% of
              so called mechanical and Swiss made watches of boutique houses
( sic )

              This commonality is now spreading to lenses and cameras with
the likes of Tamron, Kiron
             and the now widely known company of Cosina Voigtlander.

              Farewell halcyon days of yore

              So treasure your Leica LTMs, Ms etc
