Yes it is one reason I could never move from Brooklyn.  Expensive or cheap 
it tends to be authentic and tasty.

Chris - I'm a Flatbush native.  My son and his wife live in 
Williamsburg so I'm just a regular visitor now.  They have four 
absolutely top-notch restaurants within a few blocks of their 
apartment.  I'm seriously jealous.
