Canon's new DRebel, Whatever Nikon is doing with the DSLR, Leica and a 75 Cron, heaps of new digital P&S that are up a megapixel. The writing is on the wall, there is a vicious price war all across the digital landscape. Most of the players will be gone in a few years. If I do the translation right a D70 body goes for $600 in Japan. You will not find a lot of money for R&D with such margins.
