Screw Epson - HP has announced nirvana - a 13x19 version of what started
development life as the 7960 - street price of $499, nine inks, a new,
vivid blue, 100 years fade resistance under glass, 200 years in a photo
album, and the same true black and white that the smaller printer
produces.

So much for peizo...and the Epson series...

Rumor is the 2200 replacement is still coming. The R1800 is sort of a
1280 replacement. The R1800 prints at 1440 where the 2200 does up to
2880.

Calumet is now selling the B&W kits for the 2200 printer.
