bonjour robert,

yes, probably multiple 60s songs. selma is a small city in south
central alabama in dallas county. dallas county was about 80% black in
the 60s and home of arguably the most brutal segregation in the state.
40 years ago this weekend a group of marchers led by the southern
christian leadership conference attempted to march from selma to the
state capitol in montgomery to demand voting rights. they barely made
it across the bridge in selma before they were attacked by alabama
state troopers (police) with teargas and billy clubs. the day is
remembered as "bloody sunday." this weekend was the 40th anniversary,
and there was a commemorative march, where i saw two other leica users.

What Would Bill Hicks Say?

a word that rhymes with 'pavement,'
