Subject: [Leica] Question on a Leica filter

LUGers, I have found a very small E. Leitz New York "A" filter,  for 
Kodachrome A film shot in daylight. It's about the size of a US five-cent  
piece. 
 
  Does anyone know how one would use it? It looks like it might be for  the 
50mm Elmar/3.5 but I don't believe I've ever seen a filter holder that this  
filter would fit in. 
 
Any ideas?  tia,  bob cole
