Thanks Didier and JB,

Shot off a roll at 1600, took it down to TWO local developing shops and got
the
same reply: "can't do it, can't put it through the machine on anything other
than the standard processes - take it to a pro shop"

NOW, do I remember someone saying a long time ago on the LUG that the way to
deal with C-41 is to have it developed as a normal film, regardless of the
speed
  you've rated it at?

How do you deal with it Didier?
