If you have an Arca Swiss B2 could you do a quick check please.  I'm 
trying to figure out if I've damaged mine or if it's OK.

I've noticed there is a slight looseness of the large ball within the 
housing when using a low tension setting.  This can be seen when a 
sideways pressure is applied to the clamp.  The knob for the small ball 
rocks up and down a little, by about a millimeter or less.  Does yours 
do this when set to a tension of around 5?  If I use a large tele lens 
at a setting of around 6 there is a diagonal shift when I move the lens 
up or down, caused by this slight looseness.  I don't remember this 
occurring before.

I think I might have damaged the insides when the ball head took a 
knock a few weeks back.  Pity, as its a really nice piece of gear.
