Subject: [Leica] Alkaline vs Silver 625 replacement batteries

The CRIS adapters are simply a holder and a resistor. They are typically
used in applications where there is a moving needle type of mechanism. They
can do no damage to the guts of your camera. They can give wrong readings
if you have a digital readout..... or the digital output may not work at
all.

Also, I'm assuming...but interested in confirmation...that there are no
physical differences between the alkaline and silver oxide dimensions? I
have read of users with problems using the CRIS adapters.
Many thanks for any info
