Subject: [Leica] DMR / motor drive?

Interesting question.

Let's assume that the film back will fit with the DMR motor in place.
So far so good. The DMR motor will advance the shutter mechanism, to
get it ready for the next shot, and so would advance the film as well.
But will it rewind the film? Or load a new film? Good design would
result in a "Yes". Would it be good marketing to announce this way
ahead of release of the DMR to the public. No. There must be a few
Motor Drives still selling out there.

Rick.
