Unfortunately Erwin makes much from the Petzval Sum but forgot to explain to
us ahead of time what or who this is and why he is trying to kill me/us.
I'd bet Verbal Kint has the goods on Petzval Sum but I don't know.

I found the whole thing very interesting elsewise as Erwins write-ups always
are for me and the picture which puts all the relevant glass in perspective
was to me a highlight.
I finally now have a clear idea how big both the new 50 and 75 is/are.

When we get to see some high quality babe shots from the 75 I don't know.
Me I'd love to test the glass for them I have a new model and everything.

Today, by the way I landed a 105 2.5 Nikkor with collapsible hood for $130.
A real classic if the formula bears any resemblance to the classic 105 2.5
Nikkor of rangefinder days I'd think would be less than half a chance.
Maybe Verbal Kint knows for sure.

Who is Petzval Sum? He is supposed to be Turkish. Some say his father was
German. Nobody believed he was real. Nobody ever saw him or knew anybody
that ever worked directly for him, but to hear Kobayashi tell it, anybody
could have worked for Sum. You never knew. That was his power. The greatest
trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
