Subject: [Leica] Leica Gallery open

The Leica Gallery in Melbourne is open. Gero Furchheim was representing 
Leica. I managed to give him a FOM2 CDrom and chat for a while:
1. He was quite enthusiastic about a LUG project
2. He suggested Leica would look towards a late 2006 show in its 
Galleries
3. He commented that the company was almost over the worst of its 
recent hicoughs
4. He DMR should be shipping in 2 weeks
5. The M digital "project" (clearly not a straight M so hold your 
horses): would there be news or a release soon? Well in the terms of 
Leicas looooooong tradtion, the news and camera would be soon, but 
would we be using it for FOM2 NO!!!
