Subject: [Leica] lens recommendations (R)

On the same topic, and in my case for general purposes:
Would a Cla'd SL + Vario Elmar 28-70 be a good choice to have for those
moments that a RF just isn't ideal?
I'm hesitating about buying such a set.
And would a modern Nikon or Canon body + adapter ring + Vario Elmar be a
good alternative, knowing that I don't need much gizmo's on a camera. How
about VF clarity on such a combination?
Thanks,
Philippe
