Unfortunately this is no longer true as Montana reimplimented speed limits 
on their highways 3 or 4 years ago. Too many nuts driving to fast in the 
hilly, windy southern part of the state.

I am driving through there this weekend. Speed limit is now 75 MPH during 
the day.
