NY is crowded and things are close -- take one moderate telephoto -- 90
mm --
and pick a light one, it will be hauled around unused a lot.

take a normal lens and a wide angle -- a 40 and a 28 or 24, although I
always
take   a superwide when traveling also -- Voigtlander 15.

My standard kit: CL body (light, metered) and a 40 mm lens, 90 mm lens, 15
mm
lens, and supplment of a Olympus XA. This got me through 12 days in three
cities in Italy just wonderfully, and some of my best work was done with the
XA
-- small, light, quick.
