Subject: [Leica] A German CL?

Now, that would be a first! A rangefinder camera made by Ernst Leitz and
rebranded to Minolta a sold at a *lower* price than Leica demands. Now,
let's see if Zeiss makes some T* lenses and rebrands them as Cosina. ;-)

the minolta CLE and CL versions perform similarly?

this is nor surprising because they are one and the same -- made in
Deutschland by E. Leitz, both of them, the CLE version was just
rebranded, different
front ring meant lower price, too -- check the rear cam constrctions.
