Subject: [Leica] 35 Lux comparisons

Hi all

Didier has asked me to post some trials between Lux & Cron 35 at F2, I?ve
don?t had the time, but I remembered this interesting test
http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=455219, posted by Howard.

IMHO it is easy appreciate:
1.- Summilux 35 ASPH is the best. 2.-Summicron 40 at F2 is better than
Nokton. 3.- Nokton is better than Summilux Pre-Asph

The conclusion could be very easy: Don?t pay for a Pre-Asph Lux 35 mm, if
you need 1,4 buy a Nokton, or a ASPH Lux, if you don?t need 1,4 buy a
Summicron. Except I still have a remaining self-question: IMO we can?t judge
a lens only for his performances at extreme conditions, and I ask me and to
the other LUG friends, what about mid-tones?, grey tones? Middle contrast?,
on these aspects I usually prefer Leica, but I don?t have experience with
Nokton.

I?ll appreciate your comments
