Subject: [Leica] Mac on Intel, and then Leica?

Mac's advantage is OSX running UNIX in the background
for stability & 64 bit internal bus to reduce bottlenecks internally.
Probably another 2 years until MS releases the next system
upgrade & catches up. I'm not fond of paying premium prices for
hardware but Mac's save me time & money in the long run.

Leica's biggest problem is management. Products are marketed
to a shrinking consumer base for manual focusing lenses.

The quest for mechanical perfection in releasing the Digital Back
is typical of the mindset Leica is known for decades.
That they keep raising prices will keep sales of new bodies to a
minimum, so new potential M & R users more likely to purchase a
used body & use the savings for lenses.

What they should have done is release beta versions of the DMR
last year & have a trade in upgrade since the back is removable.
WIth all the delays. I would have expected it to be a full frame sensor.
