I'm always one for maintaining the the gear that I have even when that's
expensive and even when the price of a maintenance is close to a new piece
of gear. A new lens is nice but I want MY lens.
A freshly CLA'd or otherwise done over piece of gear for me I find quite
satisfying. And worth some real money.
Like a resoled pair of shoes.
They are BETTER than new.
And I like a lens which says "Leica" or "Leica" on it if possible certainly
over over a fake Nokton even if Cosina really is a very nice company in the
end.
Despite their own dislike of their own name.
and their "acquisition" of another one.
