You're right. There is something missing in these. They are dead.

I saw him crossing the street, from the corner and ran out in to the 
street to a small coned off area in the middle of the road, where they 
were doing some work. Luckily the light had just turned red, so I had a 
clear shot. Then I waited for him to hoist the weight of the suitcase 
over the curb -click!

I framed it with a VIOOH, which is really accurate at infinity, the 
shot is uncropped.
