You've got that right...Dude.

One of the first things I noticed about LA is how people will stare at 
you. This was odd to me, coming from NYC.  They're either trying to 
figure out if you're famous or what your position on the social pecking 
order is relative to themselves.  Appear to be homeless and you will be 
invisible to your subjects.
