[Leica] Film Pocket Camera Lens Quality

I believe the Minox 35 lens was designed during the reign of E. Leitz. 
Probably Leica Solms still owns Minox. The 35mm Minotar has the 50mm Elmar 
effect, 
so it makes the Minox 35 into a professional little gem. I use the GT as my 
standard pocket camera for B&W city work. It now sells for about $400 new 
through 
specialty outfits in its latest models. So Minox is still making it but 
without advertising it much. I preset it according to the prevailing light 
and 
shoot very fast with it. I still haven't found a compact digital that I can 
trust. 
However, I've learned to depend on the D70 when I need images quickly; as 
I've come to appreciate the M3 with my 50mm Summarit for EL. I print most of 
my 
work on a vintage Dell R450 using Kodak inkjet papers. That Dell is the 
common 
denominator. I don't make much of a distinction between film and digital 
cameras. Lens quality is more important. I'm finally beginning to make sense 
out of 
this proliferation of photographic variety. It's still great to have my 
Omega 
A2 enlarger handy.
