If you're running on Windows, hold down the <Alt> key and simultaneously
type "0174" on the numeric keypad and then release the <Alt> key.

To find the code for any symbol, run the "Character Map" program "found in
"Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools" and select the desired symbol.
The numeric key sequence is shown in the bottom right corner of the
Character Map window.

Unless someone has a direct PS answer, I'd say open MS Word, type the
symbol, copy it, and drop it into the PS image....
