Hi Daniel,

Hyperfocal @f8 gave me near focus of 15ft. I would have liked more but the
red filter cost me 3 stops and the light was not great. I could have gained
some f stops by dropping the shutter speed but I was worried about camera
shake as I was holding a 39mm red filter in front of the lens ( much harder
than I had anticipated with a camera with unfamiliar controls). I wanted the
figure in the foreground rather than the mid/background but by the time I
worked out filter compensation and got the filter in place without getting
my fingers in the frame she had moved on a ways. As you say, these little
boxes are a dream :-) Thanks for looking.
