Subject: [Leica] DMR at 1600 iso

Ah, but you miss the point this time, Sonny - I own Leica glass, and I want
a digital rangefinder so that I can use it. Should I have to chuck my 35
summilux asph because the camera won't give me good 800 iso results? Or my
Cosina 50 1.5? What do I do with my 21 2.8 asph? Ask it to shoot at f1 or
1.2? I'm not suggesting for a minute that you shouldn't use your noctilux at
800 with a digi - I am suggesting that a reasonably good 800 now allows me
to use 2.8 and f 2s at 800, and I want to be able to function that way with
a rangefinder. It's ludicrous that Leica, the company that gave the world
the useable rangefinder, and, for that matter, the concept of low-light
photography, should have difficulty supplying that.
