Jon:  There was a little article about him in the Seattle Times in 
2000.  It doesn't say a lot, as evidently he is a bit secretive about his 
private life.  If you're a member (free registration), you can go to the 
Seattle Times website. Search the archive for "Spanish Lessons" and "Green 
Lake."  The article is text only, though, no pictures.  I remember the 
original had a photo of him, which may be what you saw.

If you can't find the article, let me know and I can send you the text.
