Hello Luis,
A lot of potential in the picture, but you didn't use the light right! :-(

This is your sister, therefore in basically a controlled environment of the 
home.

And because it's your sister changes for a better picture can be suggested. 
Therefore it would've been so easy to tell her to change the baby to her 
left arm allowing the light to work in your favour by lighting the baby.

As she shifts the baby, a little one like this who obviously is in good 
humour mode in your picture, could easily be changed without making him cry.

As she's changing arms,  you move quickly to your left!  So instead of 
having the baby backlit as we see here, you'd have beautiful light both on 
baby and mother equally. This in turn would've created a much nicer 
photograph because of better light use.

A small suggestion for the next time. :-) You are welcome. ;-)
