Hi Adam:

I also like the Rollei shots the most.

The strange thing about the whirlpool is that even though it was small, 
about six inches across, it also seemed vaguely threatening... on some 
primitive level. Have you ever read the short story by Poe, "A Descent 
into the Maelstrom"?

I've only built one boat, a small, eight foot, square-ended dingy and 
that was in the late 50s.  I remember its smooth, sensuous lines to this 
day... but bet that if I actually did see it now, that I'd be 
disappointed in said smooth, sensuous lines and in my memory. :-)
