Hello all,
the weekly wednesday walk along the canal.
Not often we get one of these on the canal, although the guano shows
that it must have been his perch for quite a time.

I've posted 8 shots of the cormorant (well I think it is
one),unfortunately the grass and reeds on the canal bank obscured the
view a little
(very steep, and I'm not going down there with a duff arm, or at least
getting back up might be a little difficult)
.

and watching

some are quite similar (apart from being the same bird)
Please let me know which ones to crop, throw out, darken , lighten,
sharpen or whatever.
cheers
Douglas

Shot with the 20D and a Novoflex 5,6/400 at f5,6 or f8 under the extreme
difficulty of having my left arm in plaster from wrist to shoulder, but
it makes a good lens support.
If this is his daily vantage point I'll go back tomorrow with a tripod
and a 600mm too.
