My computer is most of the time my ally, it simply does what is asked of it
without fuss and I am reasonably satisfied with it. But it (It?) just did
something surprising, called up a page I have not viewed for several years,
that I have forgotten about and, in fact, that I never, to my memory, viewed
on this particular machine.

It is a photo posted to this list by a one-time contributor. Don't know what
became of him.

I was looking for a page called mediachannel dot com, chasing down someone
called Danny Schechter, the news dissector, when Jem's page, and quite a
nice photo, popped up as a suggested link: i got as far as "me..." in the
address area, and a half-dozen Jem links popped up, along with the address I
was seeking.

Strange and wonderful.
