I'm talking about the bulk slide feeder.  I heard Nikon improved it  
in this last iteration.  The feeder for the LS-4000 was prone to jams  
and misfeeds.  There is nothing to do except tend it once in a while,  
correct things that go wrong.  I would say that 2-3 slides out of ten  
on average will jam.  It's that bad.
