Alastair - When I first ran up against Photoshop 7 it stopped me cold
- and I'm a really experienced Mac user. Everything was done
differently than in any other program I'd ever used. Here's how I
dealt with it: learn just those commands you need to take the first
steps, then get to work. Pick up new commands only as you need them.
Pretty soon CS2, at least that part of it you want to use, will seem
like second nature.

I've seen people pick up a software manual, read it, and understand
everything. Damned if I know how they do it. I sure can't.

Am using CS now and expect to go to CS2 soon.

Good luck.
