Well it would be a cheaper way of getting a digital R - and possibly smaller
and lighter.

Personally I think the R8/9 is visually a very nice camera. Not a
Canon/Nikon 'they all look the same' sort of body that's for sure.

I can't see what purpose would be served by an R10
right now. Unless it's less ugly than the R8/R9, of
course - surely the R9 has just about everything. A
DMR II at some point makes much more sense, I would
think.
