The "Stage Photo" I posted a couple days ago look quite nice as 8x10 wet
prints too. There's certain look to B&W prints that I love. At ASA800,
grain is not at all noticeable and overall quite sharp. Tri X+XTOL forever!
I use a Jobo rotary processor. 5 minutes prewash and Xtol 1+3 using
digitaltruths.com 's devchart. Works great.

There are a few praises for the RH Design Analyzer PRO already. It really
is a great little gadget. Another neat thing is that once you establish a
needed timing, you can play with different paper grades and the timer
adjusts the timing for you to get the "same exposure." Neat.

I write compilers for a living. Basically software that allows other geeks
to write software for embedded chips. Besides the usual customers in the
usual "poultry management consultant," GE, etc. we have customers like
Profoto Sweden. The engineer has some questions and after answering him, I
told him how much I like their Acute flash :-) Leica Microsystems is also a
customer but I do not think they are currently related to the Leica camera
firm.

One of the geek magazine has an ad referencing the DMR!!! They proudly say
that their processor is used in the Leica's back.

In the Digital M department, if you don't frequent photo.net, do check out
threads by Huw Finney. He's embarking on a mad project to hack a digital
back onto his ....
M2!!! http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00FC4f The
sensor is full frame 14 Megapixel monochrome!

I have used the 75'lux extensively in the last 2 weeks. Nicely balanced on
the M and doesn't feel out of place at all. I can see why people love its
bokeh. Just a lovely lens. I also have been using a Domke J801 bag as my
everyday bag. The little Olympus XA is always at the bottom. When I carry
the Ms, it can hold a body plus 3 lens easily. Great for daily use too if
you don't mind a "man bag."
