Amen Brother!

I use JOBO reels. They were all plastic. They also made a steel reel core
and reels, but they weighed a ton and my poor little JOBO ( CPE2+) got tired
out from the mass. Then along came the Sermon on Mt. JOBO. They offered
Hewes Reels with a special core size so I could use new Hewes Reels with my
old plastic cores. ( P/N is 1565 and 1566 one is for 35mm the other for
120).

Enlightenment.... my 120 film loading aggravation is over. They load like a
joy... 35mm is even easier.....

Down with Plastic reels... Up with Hewes SS.

Now if I knew who took over the JOBO USA marketing and distribution I would
be a lot happier......

I had read here many times the Gospel of the Hewes Reels. One day last
fall in the used darkroom section of a local store I blundered across a
stainless tank with two 35mm Hewes reels in it for $5...boy do they
load easier than Paterson plastic. A month later they had a four roll
tank with two Hewes 35mm and one Hewes 120 reel for $15...snapped that
up too. I find the Paterson plastic loads plenty easy for 120, but for
35mm the Hewes are super easy.
