It's the average angle of view (43?) of the human eye
that these lenses mimic, not the focal length. I still use
the Pentax 40/2.8 pancake since 1977 for a natural
looking perspective. Some day I will upgrade to the 43/1.9
to use on my MX. Check the specs on your lenses.
