Some observations:              

1) Looks like they used the Digilux-2/Pana LC1 body shell.

2) Lens: with the Digi2/LC1 Vario-Summicron, Leica admitted that they 
used/tweaked a non-Leica stock 
formula already existent. Presume same thing with this Vario-Elmarit.

3) So it has a mirror? Does that mean an FP shutter too?

4) Someone mentioned Pentax "going next" [where? to 4/3? to oblivion?] My 
daughter ordered the new 
Pentax *ist DS2 from Samys in CA in January. Out of stock then. This month 
they told her they can't 
get ANY Pentax dslrs. Whither Pentax?
