Subject: [Leica] Workshop - July 2-8
From: bdcolen at comcast.net (B. D. Colen)
Date: Sun Mar 5 15:07:56 2006

On the off chance that any one is interested/intrigued, I will be teaching
my "Day In Our Life" workshop again this summer at the Maine Photographic
Workshops -

http://www.theworkshops.com/catalog/courses/index.asp?CourseID=2671&SchoolID
=20

Think of a week at The Workshops as a week at photo summer camp - all
photography, all the time, from breakfast through dinner. The workshops
begin with a talk by the MPW director, David Lyman, Sunday evening, and a
brief 'howdy' for members of each workshop. The individual workshops start
in earnest Monday a.m., and go through Saturday a.m., with a community slide
show of work on Friday evening. It's a terrific photo-saturated environment;
the food, served under a tent, is - believe it or not - as close to
outstanding as can be hoped for, and the local Maine scenery is spectacular.

I definitely encourage shooting digitally during the week, but anyone who
wants to shoot slide film can - but it will slow you down.

If anyone's interested and has questions beyond the material at the URL
above, just contact me off-list.
