Yes it is toxic, but mostly in the air as an inhaled product.  If you think
about roll film, so when do you come in contact with it?  never.

So only at the time of dilution ( unless you either buy it in solution or
mix it outside) is it the least bit dangerous, unless you drink it.....

You mix a 500cc, and use 6cc per roll so it lasts a LONG time......Use
pipettes for "pouring" and it will last almost forever....Solution B goes
off after about a year.  It can be easily remixed from cheap darkroom
chemicals, and is NOT the toxic solution.
