Don didn't say that digital is destroying photography.  He said it was  
devastating the industry.  Yes, more people seem to be taking  pictures.  
 
Galleries upon galleries on the Internet of drunken peeps lined up grinning  
past their drinks at parties.  
 
Narcistic not-so-lovelies with 968 self-portraits.   
 
Tourist destinations with rows of people  their photo endowed  cellphones  
held in modified statue of liberty stance, capturing each  other.  
 
There's a camera store in Shreveport that has been open for 75 years.   The 
downtown shop still looks and feels like a camera store, but the other two  
locations are now called "Dee's Cameras and Gifts."  Those locations keep  
only a 
couple of rolls of Reala each. They also send you to the downtown  location 
if you need something exotic like a filter.
 
Oh yeah, BD it sho is gettin' better.
