Hi Steve,

Interesting comparison photos! He sure looks great in the first of the two 
recovering photos. :-)

My preference? Number one is the better of the two because of great light 
use, "shooting from the shadow side" ;-) But he also looks happy compared to 
the shot with the hat. In this frame he looks tired which in turn still 
makes him look like a sick child, compared to #1 where he looks like a happy 
"recovering child."

If I were showing a child with a positive attitude in hospital, no question 
the one with the thumbs up!  With a well on recovering attitude? The first 
without the hat and you've a great pair of photos about children health 
care.
