Hi Phiippe,
Just the opposite, better the angle stays where it is. Because if he went 
lower the grass and reeds in the foreground would come higher into the frame 
becoming a visual distraction in the slight open foreground to the water.

Rather than where they are as an enhancement to walk right into the frame, 
although you might have wet feet in doing so. ;-)
