I worked in an office block within the perimeter of Gatwick airport for 7 months and just couldn't get used to the "aura" of the airport police.Seldom have I seen police that have such a "Don't mess with me" look about them. The sub-machine guns have the look of having been in constant use too (some psychologist thought out a strategic paint job), like a brassed Leica - but in cold steel.
