How 'bout us Olympus guys, too, Gene? I'm on the horse with Paul Revere for
the revolutionary ride with the E-330. Olympus has made the long-overdue
leap to a compact DSLR with a live, tiltable LCD. Their top end lenses do
not disappoint either. Plus, my R lenses work great on the E-330.

As I've said before, I think the E-330 DSLR is the biggest thing to hit
photography since the Leica M3. It may not embody the perfection that was
the M3 in 1955, but the E-330 has a dozen more features to sort out and is
an amazing first-out-of-the-gate, trend-setting camera.

Leica - where were you?! In an age of fuel injectors, why are you still
trying to perfect the carburetor? Leica had a chance to leap-frog Nikon and
Canon with innovative thinking in the digital world. Titanium, custom
engraving, and green leather do not make photographers more creative.

I bet there are at least a couple of innovative engineers at Leica who are
gnashing their teeth. They might be wondering if management will ever go
back to the forward-thinking kind of company that defined Leica in the
1950's and 1960's. I bet some of us long-time Leica fans are wondering, too.
