Gary, I don't have any ROM lenses so I'm not certain what the DMR 
records differently.  With this photo the aperture setting was recorded 
as f/4 but since I was using the 1.4x extender the actual aperture was 
f/5.6.  Thanks for the comments.  I really ought to get up to Humboldt 
Bay NWR some day!
