Subject: [Leica] New Panasonic/Leica

I'm getting the impression these days that a company will make an initial
run of a digital model and then make no more. Thus, after the first run,
they are discontinued. That would make sense given the explosion of new
features and innovations in the digital world, and the tendency for
digi-lovers to cluster around the home page of www.dpreview.com wondering
what the next model will bring.

My understanding is that the Digilux 2 is discontinued, so be careful. That
information was given to my by Leica UK.
